I want to change the version number 1.0.x for testing needs. Is there a way to do this? And is there a way to add the Junior rank in the whois online listą

I changed it, but it only changed in the Admin panel. I changed it from the SQL Database. phpBB_config -> version.

But it only changed in the admin panel.

But why you want to change it? It's illegal ! Check GNU license.
You can not use public script with false informations about author/version etc.

Its not illegal, I just changed it to 1.x to tell people im just messing around with the forum and if something happens they shouldnt worry. its illegal if you take of the copyright sign and your name from the forum. Which I havent. I have left a your name there and a Link back to your site.
